Rainy nights have hindered owl netting attempts recently, so owl numbers this week remain low. It appears movement has been reduced to a feathery trickle. There looks to be some great nights in the forecast though, so still a chance of a late push to finish the season strong!

And for the main event (finally) here’s a look at the BRAND NEW trailer that all our donors and supporters have graciously helped to fund! It’s among the best field cribs I’ve had the privilege to use and will serve admirably as an comfy place for future MSRW banders to call home. I’m very fortunate to be it’s first resident and, as it has a working furnace and reliable walls, be able to crawl into a warm bed after a long night of banding. Enumerable thanks again to everyone who made this possible!
