Night of October 14th, 2016
A short night due to weather again, but we netted a total of 9 birds for the visiting college students from Sault St. Marie college. 2 birds were repeats from previous nights and another was a foreign recapture. Of the 7 new birds, all were female. 4 of the birds were hatch years, 1 was a second year, and the last 2 birds were aged as after second years. Around 2am the wind picked up and finally by 4am the wind was blowing hard enough that I decided to close the nets.
