Bad weather made for a short session of banding last night. I opened a couple hours late because of the rain and I ended up closing the nets around 1:30 in the morning because of lightening! I still was able to band a few birds and ended up netting 4 birds. They were all females, with 2 being hatch year birds and the other 2 were aged as after second years.
